Flywheel
A project of the Kendrick brothers and Sherwood Pictures, Flywheel was an ambitious first feature film. The strongest aspect of this film is the storyline. The lead character, Jay Austin (played by Alex Kendrick), is a car salesman that rips off a pastor and the pastor prays that God will bless the salesman as he has blessed him. As the film progresses Jay Austin faces foreclosure on his car lot, this is where the turning point begins. This film is an enjoyable story of honesty and grace.
Although Flywheel had a low budget reduced the potential production value, its moving story made the film worth while.
